Hijamat, the fourth feature by Iranian director Nader Saeivar, world premieres July 8 in the Crystal Globe competition of the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic. The film is produced and edited by Jafar Panahi, winner of the Palme d'Or and the duo's longtime creative bond runs deep: Saeivar co-wrote It Was Just an Accident and 3 Faces with him. Set in Berlin, the drama stars German actor Kida Khodr Ramadan as Murad, a man whose deeply religious Muslim family is shaken to the core when his younger brother's secret relationship with another man is exposed. Caught between familial duty, religious pressure, and long-buried tensions, Murad becomes the film's conflicted center. The cast also includes Moritz Bleibtreu, Nicolette Krebitz, and Nastassja Kinski. The title refers to wet cupping, the traditional practice of drawing out stagnant blood, which Saeivar uses as a metaphor: to free ourselves from outdated views, he says, we need a kind of mental hijamat.
حجامت؛ فیلم تازه سعیور و پناهی به کارلووی واری می‌رود
فیلم «حجامت»، چهارمین ساخته نادر سعیور، فیلمساز ایرانی ساکن برلین، روز ۸ ژوئیه در بخش مسابقه اصلی (کریستال گلوب) شصتمین جشنواره بین‌المللی فیلم کارلووی واری در جمهوری چک نخستین نمایش جهانی خود را تجربه می‌کند. تهیه‌کننده و تدوینگر فیلم جعفر پناهی، برنده نخل طلای کن، است؛ همکاری این دو سابقه‌ای طولانی دارد و سعیور فیلمنامه «یک تصادف ساده» و «سه رخ» را با پناهی نوشته است. داستان در برلین می‌گذرد: زندگی خانواده‌ای عمیقا مذهبی با آشکار شدن رابطه پنهان پسر کوچک‌تر با مردی دیگر به لرزه می‌افتد و برادر بزرگ‌تر، مراد، با بازی کیدا خدر رمضان، میان وظیفه خانوادگی، فشار مذهبی و تنش‌های سال‌ها پنهان‌مانده گرفتار می‌شود. موریتس بلایبتروی، نیکولت کربیتس و ناستازیا کینسکی نیز در فیلم بازی می‌کنند. عنوان فیلم به حجامت، شیوه سنتی بیرون کشیدن خون کثیف از بدن، اشاره دارد؛ استعاره‌ای که به گفته سعیور یعنی برای رهایی از دیدگاه‌های کهنه، به نوعی حجامت ذهنی نیاز داریم.
