Founder, Playwright & Artistic Director
Sadegh Hatefi is the founder of Owrang and serves as its Artistic Director, principal playwright, and stage director. Through his original writing and direction, he brings Iranian history, mythology, and human experience to life on stage, transforming cultural memory into living performance.

Rokhand Gharavi
Co-Founder, President & Creative Director
Rokhand Gharavi is the co-founder and President of Owrang Institute. As Creative Director she oversees all visual, technical, and operational aspects of the organization. With decades of experience as a TV producer, editor, and visual storyteller, she founded Rokhandfilm and previously served as Editor-in-Chief of Hava-ye Zaman magazine.

Adam Hatefi
Co-Founder, Board Member, Actor & Translator
Adam Hatefi is a co-founder and Board Member of Owrang Institute. An author, policy advocate, and first-generation Iranian-American, he holds a JD from Arizona State University and is the founder of Logikos Advocacy Group.
