The 40th Cinema Ritrovato festival in Bologna, Italy, devoted to restored and rediscovered treasures of film history, is honoring three late masters of Iranian cinema this year. A tribute to Abbas Kiarostami featured four of his short films, including Bread and Alley and Breaktime. Also screening are Dariush Mehrjui's The Cycle, newly restored in 4K by Cineteca di Bologna and the Iran Heritage Foundation, and The Secrets of the Treasure of the Jinn Valley, the final film of Ebrahim Golestan. Each summer the festival presents more than five hundred films from archives around the world.
سه استاد ایرانی بر پرده بولونیا
چهلمین دوره جشنواره «سینمای بازیافته» در بولونیای ایتالیا، که به نمایش فیلم‌های مرمت‌شده و کمتردیده تاریخ سینما اختصاص دارد، امسال میزبان آثار سه استاد فقید سینمای ایران است. جشنواره در بزرگداشت عباس کیارستمی چهار فیلم کوتاه او از جمله «نان و کوچه» و «زنگ تفریح» را نمایش داد. «دایره مینا» ساخته داریوش مهرجویی، که امسال با همکاری سینه‌تکای بولونیا و بنیاد میراث ایران به صورت 4K مرمت شده، و «اسرار گنج دره جنی»، آخرین ساخته ابراهیم گلستان، دیگر فیلم‌های ایرانی این دوره‌اند. این جشنواره هر تابستان بیش از پانصد فیلم از آرشیوهای سراسر جهان را روی پرده می‌برد.
