About this work
An episodic film about the children of Thiers, a small town in the Auvergne, in the last weeks of school before summer, with about two hundred non-professional child actors. Truffaut shows childhood as both funny and painful, from a toddler who falls from a window unhurt to a boy hiding abuse at home.
فیلمی اپیزودیک دربارهٔ کودکان شهر کوچک تی‌یر در اوورنی در هفته‌های آخر مدرسه پیش از تعطیلات تابستان، با حدود دویست بازیگر کودک غیرحرفه‌ای. تروفو کودکی را هم خنده‌دار و هم دردناک نشان می‌دهد، از کودکی که از پنجره می‌افتد و سالم برمی‌خیزد تا پسری که در خانه آزار می‌بیند.
