About this work
New Federal Theatre presents the third in a series of four programs featuring excerpts from plays created by the WPA Federal Theatre Project of the 1930s. Features plays, radio scripts, newspaper anecdotes, the Theatre's Living newspaper dramatizations, a choreographic work, and dramatic presentations of events in the career of Hallie Ferguson Flanagan Davis, founder of the Federal Theatre Project. Ruth Warrick introduces the program.
