Analysis of Labor Productivity Changes 1385–1390: A Case Study of Tehran Province and Other Provinces of the Country

This is an article examining labor productivity changes in Tehran Province compared with the rest of Iran. Tehran Province is noted as contributing roughly 26 percent of the country's GDP on average, making it among the most significant provinces in the country. The article asks which factor most drives labor productivity change in Tehran relative to other provinces. To answer this, the authors construct a two-region input-output table for Tehran and the remaining regions using symmetric input-output tables at constant prices for 1385 and 1390, drawn from the Parliamentary Research Center and the Statistical Center of Iran, applying the FLQ-RAS method.
