The distinction between sex and gender, and subsequently the notion that gender is not determined by sex, which has been introduced in social sciences due to legal, cultural, and certainly scientific necessities, is among the most important subjects of contemporary scientific approaches to social matters. To identify how to enter this discussion and make judgments about such a duality, the first question is how one can engage with the methodological literature of this debate and recognize this type of discourse, and on that basis, map out the space of scientific dialogue around this discussion so that instead of a confrontation between approaches, a dialogue among approaches becomes possible.
