About this work
The only complete surviving trilogy of Greek tragedy: Agamemnon, The Libation Bearers and The Eumenides. Clytemnestra kills her husband Agamemnon, who had sacrificed their daughter Iphigenia; her son Orestes avenges his father by killing her; and finally an Athenian court presided over by Athena breaks the chain of blood vengeance.
