About this work
Field recordings made in 1962 by the German ethnomusicologist Dieter Christensen and his wife among the Kurds of western Iran, issued by Folkways in 1966 (FE 4103). The album covers all three types of Kurdish music: urban music by professionals, rural and dervish music, and everyday songs such as lullabies, work songs and ceremonial songs. Christensen's detailed liner notes accompany it.
ضبط‌های می‌دانی دیتر کریستنسن، قوم‌موسیقی‌شناس آلمانی، و همسرش از موسیقی کرده‌ای غرب ایران در ۱۳۴۱ (۱۹۶۲) که فوکویز در ۱۹۶۶ (FE 4103) منتشر کرد. آلبوم هر سه گونهٔ موسیقی کردی را دربر دارد: موسیقی شهری نوازندگان حرفه‌ای، موسیقی روستایی و درویشی، و آوازه‌ای روزمره چون لالایی، ترانهٔ کار و ترانهٔ آیینی. یادداشت‌های مفصل کریستنسن همراه آلبوم است.
