This volume by Sadeq Hedayat brings together two works: the play Parvin Dokhtar-e Sasan, written in 1309, and the travel account Isfahan Nesf-e Jahan, written in 1311. The play takes its subject from the Sasanian period, while the travel account concerns the city of Isfahan. Together they represent Hedayat's engagement with Iranian history and place.
