About this work
A filmmaker named Parviz (played by Kimiavi himself), struggling with his first feature, is sent to install a television relay station in Sistan-Baluchestan, and his wife's thesis on the Mongol invasion merges in his mind with the invasion of television and cinema. A self-reflexive, surreal satire on modern media in 1970s Iran.
فیلمسازی به نام پرویز (با بازی خود کیمیاوی) که با نخستین فیلم بلندش کلنجار می‌رود، مأمور نصب فرستندهٔ تلویزیون در سیستان و بلوچستان می‌شود و پایان‌نامهٔ همسرش دربارهٔ حملهٔ مغول در ذهنش با هجوم تلویزیون و سینما درمی‌آمیزد. هجویه‌ای خودبازتابنده و سوررئال دربارهٔ رسانه‌های مدرن در ایران دههٔ ۵۰.
