About this work
Maurice Béjart's ballet inspired by Sa'di's Golestan, tracing humanity's journey toward wisdom through Sufi doctrine. Commissioned by the Shiraz Arts Festival, it premiered at Persepolis in 1973 with musicians from the Centre for the Preservation and Propagation of Iranian Music.
بالهٔ موریس بژار با الهام از «گلستان» سعدی که سفر انسان به سوی خرد را از راه عرفان صوفیانه نشان می‌دهد. به سفارش جشن هنر شیراز ساخته شد و در ۱۳۵۲ در تخت جمشید با نوازندگان مرکز حفظ و اشاعهٔ موسیقی ایرانی نخستین بار اجرا شد.
