About this work
Danny Boyle's staging of Nick Dear's adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel tells the story largely from the Creature's point of view, with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternating the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature. The production was filmed by National Theatre Live, and both casting versions are offered separately. It can be watched at home by subscribing to National Theatre at Home.
