About this work
Four Japanese ghost stories adapted from Lafcadio Hearn, from a samurai who abandons his wife to a blind musician who sings for the spirits of dead warriors. Painted sets and Tōru Takemitsu's score create a slow, dreamlike dread.
چهار داستان ارواح ژاپنی برگرفته از روایت‌های لافکادیو هرن، از سامورایی‌ای که همسرش را رها می‌کند تا نوازنده‌ای نابینا که برای ارواح جنگجویان آواز می‌خواند. با دکوره‌ای نقاشی‌شده و موسیقی تورو تاکه‌میتسو، فضایی رؤیاگونه و آرام اما ترسناک می‌سازد.
