The structure of the story Sheol

This is a scholarly article analyzing Havieh, the first short story collection by Aboutorab Khosravi, using Tzvetan Todorov's structuralist method. The article extracts narrative sequences from the stories and examines their deep structure, finding that the collection is fundamentally organized around a struggle against time and its manifestations. The analysis shows that Khosravi consciously works to mirror this deep structure in the surface form of his narratives, creating correspondence between content and technique. In simpler, single-axis stories the sequences are arranged in a chain, while more complex structures reflect the thematic tensions differently.
