مقالة حاضر تلاشی است در جهت نقد و تحلیل کتاب زنان پرده‌نشین و نخبگان جوشن‏پوش نوشته فاطمه مرنیسی. نویسندة کتاب با تکیه بر دو منبع تاریخی؛ تاریخ طبری و سیرة ابن هشام تحلیل‏ه‌ای خود را ارائه کرده است.
