Chook Fiction Monthly, No. 179

A literary journal devoted to Persian narrative fiction, founded by Mehdi Rezaei and first published in Shahrivar 1389, continuing to the present. Chowk Cultural Center, independent of any official organization, was established by young literature enthusiasts to advance Persian literary culture in the field of short stories and fiction. The journal features original Persian stories, translated narratives, essays, literary criticism including reviews and analysis of works like "Asheghe" and "Golsang," examinations of theatrical works, discussions of Persian proverbs and idioms, and profiles of notable Iranian figures.
