About this work
This collection addresses two interrelated questions: How are the lived experiences of contention remembered in the form of auto/biography? How is life writing, as an act of cultural remembrance, used in activism? Building on cutting-edge scholarship on the socio-political potential of narrating lived experience, this volume takes life-writing as a new point of observation on the entanglement between memory and activism. This is an open access book.
این کتاب مجموعهای پژوهشی است که به رابطهی میان حافظه، زندگینامهنویسی و فعالیت اجتماعی-سیاسی میپردازد. محور اصلی آن دو پرسش بههمپیوسته است: تجربههای زیستهی مبارزه و اعتراض چگونه در قالب زندگینامه یا خودزندگینامه روایت و به یاد سپرده میشوند؟ و نوشتن دربارهی زندگی چگونه به ابزاری برای کنشگری تبدیل میشود؟ این مجموعه با تکیه بر پژوهشهای نوین دربارهی ظرفیت اجتماعی و سیاسی روایت تجربه، زندگینامهنویسی را بهمثابهی زاویهای تازه برای بررسی درهمتنیدگی حافظه و فعالیت مدنی در نظر میگیرد. این کتاب به صورت دسترسی آزاد منتشر شده است.
