About this work

Morghzar is a novel that blends realism with elements of fantasy. It is a social novel about loneliness and mortality, set in a world that combines both modes. The protagonist is a forty-year-old wrestler named Kushtigi, once famous but now forgotten, who reflects on his past and future while facing a choice between family and paradise. The work explores this dilemma within a landscape of arid villages contrasted against an abundant, water-rich paradise with red soil, raising questions about why such a paradise exists in this setting and what choice the protagonist ultimately makes.
