Child Poverty with Emphasis on Employment and Leisure: A Case Study of Tehran City-2011

This is a research article examining child poverty in Tehran across two dimensions: employment and leisure. Using data from the 1390 Justice Survey in the City, the study calculates child poverty rates across Tehran's 22 districts and 5 zones, then uses logit modeling to identify the key factors affecting child poverty. The findings indicate the highest rates of child employment in south Tehran and district 15, with deprivation being a significant factor. The study treats child poverty as important because children represent future human capital for society.
