A Comparative Study of Symbols and Visual Signs in the Play "The Death of Yazdgerd" by Bahram Beyza'i with the Screenplay "The Fish and the Cat" by Shahram Mokri

This article offers a symbolic anthropological analysis of hidden dramatic elements, particularly dialogue and psychological wordplay in two significant works of Iranian dramatic literature: Bahram Biyzayi's play The Death of Yazdgerd and Shahram Makri's screenplay The Cat and the Fish. The article examines how these works employ ecological imagery and mental engagement as structural components. Makri's screenplay is noted as a meaningful work in Iranian cinema that has attracted attention from audiences and critics both domestically and internationally through its innovative form and content in conveying psychological concepts.
