Myths of Today. Essays in Cultural Myth Criticism (Mitos de hoy. Ensayos de mitocrítica cultural) is a collection of essays in Spanish edited by José Manuel Losada and published open access by Logos Verlag, Berlin, in 2016. The essays follow Losada's method of "cultural myth criticism", which adds globalisation, immanence and consumer culture to the older tools of myth criticism, and trace how ancient myths, from Dante's journey retold for children to Cocteau's Orpheus films, live on in today's literature, art and media.
