A Statistical Taxonomic Study of Master's Theses and Doctoral Dissertations in the Department of Translation at the University of Mosul for the Period (1986–2019) According to Holmes's Map of Translation Studies

This is an academic article or study that classifies master's and doctoral theses on translation submitted to the Translation Department at the University of Mosul between 1986 and 2019, using Holmes's map of Translation Studies (1972) as its framework. The study addresses the concern that research efforts in the department have leaned predominantly toward pure theoretical translation studies, and it argues that applied translation studies have not received comparable attention from researchers. Statistical data are provided to support this analysis.
