Evaluation of an Ancient Manuscript of Anvari's Divan and Emendation of Verses Based on It

This is a scholarly article presenting a descriptive-analytical study of one of the oldest known manuscripts of the collected poems of Anvari. The research focuses on manuscript number 4113, examining its place in the critical editing of Anvari's divan by comparing it against thirteen other early manuscripts. Although the manuscript is incomplete, with missing or displaced pages at the beginning, end, and middle, the study argues that features such as its script and, especially, its preservation of authentic textual readings establish it as among the oldest surviving copies of Anvari's divan.
