این مجموعه دیوان شعری حافظ است، یکی از بزرگترین شاعران غزلسرای فارسیزبان. اشعار او سرشار از مضامین عشق، می، معشوق، و تأملات عارفانه است و در قالب غزل سروده شدهاند. حافظ با زبانی سرشار از ایهام و چندلایگی، میان عشق زمینی و معنوی مرزی روشن نمیکشد و همین ابهام آگاهانه از ویژگیهای شناختهشده سبک اوست. دیوان او در طول سدهها در میان فارسیزبانان جایگاهی ماندگار داشته و از محبوبترین متون شعری کلاسیک فارسی به شمار میرود.
