Concept, Challenges, and Solutions for the Restoration of Public Rights by the General Inspection Organization of the Country

This is a legal article examining the concept of public rights restoration as mandated by Article 156 of Iran's Constitution, which assigns the judiciary the duty of reviving public rights and expanding legitimate freedoms. The article argues that despite more than four decades since the Constitution's adoption, Iranian statutory law has not clearly defined public rights, the mechanisms for their realization, or the responsible authorities. While legal doctrine has addressed the concept and its obstacles, the specific role of the General Inspection Organization of Iran in restoring public rights, along with related challenges and solutions, has remained unexplored. The article aims to fill that gap.
