About this work

Daftar-e Sheshom-e Masnavi is the sixth book of Rumi's monumental Persian poem the Masnavi, composed in the mathnavi verse form. Like the other books of the Masnavi, it weaves together parables, stories, and spiritual teachings drawn from Islamic tradition, Sufi thought, and everyday human experience. Through interlocking narratives and lyrical reflection, it explores themes of the soul's journey, divine love, and the nature of human folly and wisdom. The Masnavi as a whole is regarded as one of the greatest works of Persian literature and a foundational text of Sufi poetry.
