About this work
The Kim family scrape by in a semi-basement flat in Seoul. The son becomes English tutor to the daughter of the wealthy Park family, and one by one the Kims slip into the household under false identities, until a secret in the house's basement tips everything into violence. The making-of videos show how the house was designed and built, why its windows and stairs are placed as they are, and how the set was shaped to serve the camera's compositions. Parasite won the 2019 Palme d'Or and the Oscar for Best Picture, the first non-English-language film to do so.

خانوادهٔ کیم در خانه‌ای نیمه‌زیرزمینی در سئول به سختی روزگار می‌گذرانند. پسر خانواده معلم خصوصی دختر خانوادهٔ ثروتمند پارک می‌شود و یکی‌یکی بقیهٔ اعضای خانواده را با هویت جعلی در آن خانه به کار می‌گمارد، تا اینکه کشف رازی در زیرزمین خانه همه‌چیز را به خشونت می‌کشاند. ویدئوه‌ای پشت صحنه نشان می‌دهند خانه چگونه طراحی و ساخته شد، چرا پنجره‌ها و راه‌پله‌ها آن‌گونه چیده شدند و صحنه چطور در خدمت قاب‌بندی دوربین قرار گرفت. «انگل» نخل طلای کن ۲۰۱۹ و اسکار بهترین فیلم را برد؛ نخستین فیلم غیرانگلیسی‌زبانی که این اسکار را گرفت.
