This is a scholarly article that applies Paul Castagné's theoretical framework to analyze the play Makhba' Raqam 13 by Mahmoud Teymour. The article examines the role of language and its various capabilities in shaping the structural elements of the play, focusing specifically on different types of dialogic beats and their functions within the text. The findings indicate that dialogic beats, understood as the most fundamental identifiable units of intellectual and linguistic action, constitute a major portion of the play's text and enable the representation of sudden breaks and shifts in meaning.
