About this work
A retired colonel comes to Tehran with his young new wife to visit his daughters in the capital and is dismayed by their unhappiness and casual affairs as his own mind slowly unravels. Adapted from a story by Gholam-Hossein Sa'edi, it was banned after a single screening at the Shiraz Arts Festival until 1973.
سرهنگی بازنشسته با همسر جوانش از شهرستان به تهران می‌آید تا دخترانش را ببیند، اما از ناشادی و روابط سست آنان آشفته می‌شود و رفته‌رفته تعادل روانی‌اش را از دست می‌دهد. اقتباس از داستانی از غلامحسین ساعدی؛ فیلم که در ۱۳۴۹ ساخته شد، پس از یک نمایش در جشن هنر شیراز تا ۱۳۵۲ توقیف بود.
