About this work
In an aristocratic mansion at the end of the Qajar era, after the matriarch's suspicious death, her paraplegic daughter, her husband and his nephews fight over the inheritance while the servants play their own part in the power game. Aslani's debut vanished after a disastrous 1976 Tehran festival premiere; a print found in a junk shop in 2014 was restored by the World Cinema Project.
در عمارتی اشرافی در اواخر دوران قاجار، پس از مرگ مشکوک بانوی خانه، دختر فلج او، ناپدری و برادرزاده‌های او بر سر ارث با هم می‌جنگند و خدمتکاران نیز در این بازی قدرت سهم دارند. نخستین فیلم بلند اصلانی پس از نمایش پرماجرا در جشنوارهٔ جهانی تهران ۱۳۵۵ از دیده‌ها رفت و نسخه‌اش در ۲۰۱۴ در یک سمساری پیدا و با World Cinema Project مرمت شد.
