About this work
Mascagni's one-act opera of love, jealousy and revenge in a Sicilian village on Easter Day. The Tehran Opera Company staged it several times at Rudaki Hall between 1968 and 1972, with Evelyn Baghcheban and Soudabeh Tajbakhsh among the leads.
اپرای تک‌پردهٔ ماسکانی دربارهٔ عشق، حسادت و انتقام در دهکده‌ای در سیسیل در روز عید پاک. گروه اپرای تهران آن را در سال‌های ۱۳۴۷ تا ۱۳۵۱ چند بار در تالار رودکی اجرا کرد، از جمله با اولین باغچه‌بان و سودابه تاجبخش.
