About this work
A two-act opera by Ahmad Pejman on Babak Khorramdin and his revolt against the Abbasid caliphate, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Arts. After Jashn-e Dehghan (1967), it was Pejman's second Persian opera staged at Rudaki Hall.
اپرایی در دو پرده از احمد پژمان دربارهٔ بابک خرمدین و ایستادگی او در برابر خلافت عباسی، که به سفارش وزارت فرهنگ و هنر نوشته شد. پس از «جشن دهقان» (۱۳۴۶) دومین اپرای ایرانیِ پژمان بود که در تالار رودکی به صحنه رفت.
