About this work
A young traveller staying at a country inn encounters strange signs and learns that a vampire is preying on a nearby family. Dreyer suggests rather than shows terror, through hazy, dreamlike imagery.
مسافری جوان در مسافرخانه‌ای روستایی به نشانه‌هایی عجیب برمی‌خورد و درمی‌یابد خون‌آشامی بر خانواده‌ای در همان نزدیکی چنگ انداخته است. درایر با تصاویر مه‌آلود و رؤیاگونه، ترس را بیشتر القا می‌کند تا نمایش دهد.
