About this work
An elderly couple travel from the provinces to visit their grown children in Tokyo, who are too busy to make time for them; only their widowed daughter-in-law shows real kindness. A quiet study of time, generational distance and family duty.
زوجی سالخورده از شهرستان برای دیدن فرزندان بزرگسالشان به توکیو می‌آیند، اما فرزندان سرگرم زندگی خود هستند. تنها عروسِ بیوه‌شان با آن‌ها مهربانی می‌کند. فیلمی آرام دربارهٔ گذر زمان، فاصلهٔ نسل‌ها و وظیفهٔ خانوادگی.
