About this work
This is a Persian masnawī poem completed in 1311 AH by Sayyid Muhsin al-Husaynī al-Mahallātī. The work recounts the pilgrimage to Mecca undertaken in 550 AH (1155 CE) by Afḍal al-Dīn Badīl ibn ‛Alī Hāqānī Šīrwānī. The manuscript comprises 104 folios and entered the collection through the Henri Massé bequest, donated by his daughter to the library in 2003.
