Structural Comparison of the Shared Anecdotes in Sanai's Hadiqah and Rumi's Masnavi

This is a scholarly article that compares the works of two major Persian mystical poets, Sanai of the sixth century and Molavi of the seventh century. Through library research and comparative textual analysis, the study examines narratives that appear in both Sanai's Hadiqah and Molavi's Masnavi, identifying stories with shared themes across the two works. Sanai is described as the greatest composer of qasidas in Persian literature and a founder of mystical verse, while Molavi brought the mystical ghazal to its peak.
