The Rhetoric of Questioning in Salman Savaji's Ghazal

This is a scholarly article that examines the rhetorical use of interrogative sentences in the ghazals of the Persian poet Salman Savaji. The study identifies 521 rhetorical questions distributed across 39 secondary pragmatic functions in his ghazals, and categorizes and analyzes these using a descriptive-analytical method. The argument is that studying Salman Savaji's ghazals through the lens of sentence pragmatics and secondary interrogative purposes offers insight into his stylistic choices and the intellectual layers of his poetry.
