The Divan of Mah-Gira

Diwan-e Mah Gira is a collection of ghazals, couplets, and spiritual and romantic poems by Rashad Siddiqui. The work traces an inward journey from love and passion through betrayal, solitude, self-knowledge, and return to truth. Drawing on the tradition of Persian and Dari poetry and influenced spiritually by Rumi and Hafez, the collection is organized into four sections: beauty and moonrise, betrayal and wounds, night and solitude, and annihilation and wisdom. The poems explore themes of longing, suffering, and mystical insight within classical Islamic poetic forms.
