تولدی دیگر/غزل

This is a ghazal by Forugh Farrokhzad, collected in her book Tavalodi Digar (Another Birth). In it, the speaker addresses a lover who listens to her heart's story tonight but will forget her like a story by tomorrow. The poem turns on the painful contrast between present intimacy and anticipated abandonment. The ghazal is attributed in part to the poet known as Sayeh.
