Chook Fiction Monthly, No. 183

Choak is Iran's first electronic literary magazine in PDF format, devoted to fiction and narrative prose. Founded by Mehdi Rezaei, it began publication in Shahrivar 1389 and continues to the present. The magazine is independent, run by a group of young literature enthusiasts seeking to advance Persian literary culture in the field of fiction. Each issue contains Iranian and international stories, essays on narrative theory, articles such as "The Miracle in Cinema," reviews of novels including "The Oval-Shaped Portrait," and analysis of short stories like "A Red Flower for the Pilgrim."
