This is the opening of a Persian poem that invokes sensory and mystical imagery. The speaker addresses hidden curtains dancing in fragrant intoxication, calls upon houris of springs to wash away magic's mark from their gaze, and implores wind-tousled hair and leaves of delusion to fall from their branches. The fragment suggests a lyrical work preoccupied with themes of enchantment, purification, and the interplay between reality and illusion, written in ornate, imagistic language characteristic of classical Persian poetry.
