The Hedge of Secrets" is a poem by Sohrab Sepehri from Avalanche of the Sun (Avar-e Aftab, 1961), one of the eight collections gathered in Eight Books (Hasht Ketab). It is addressed to someone who has gone, a traveler on a road that runs from the speaker toward the endless, and it belongs to the early, more inward period of Sepehri's work before the open voice of The Green Volume.
