این مقاله بررسی‌ای به‌روز از ترجمه‌های ادبیات معاصر ایتالیایی است که در دو شماره از مجله‌ی ادبی روسی «ادبیات خارجی» منتشر شده‌اند. شماره‌ی اول از سال دوهزار و هشت، با عنوان «ادبیات ایتالیایی در جستجوی شکلی نو»، شامل ترجمه‌هایی از شاعران و نویسندگان داستان است، به‌ویژه متون از نویسندگان کلاسیک قرن بیستم از جمله آینده‌گرایان، بیانگرایان و سورئالیست‌ها، و همچنین نمونه‌هایی از نوشته‌های نقادانه. این بررسی به ترجمه‌های با ارزش متنی‌ای می‌پردازد.
