About this work
The sixth book of the Masnavi is a long narrative poem by the Persian poet Rumi, forming part of his larger six-volume masterwork written in classical Persian. This volume continues the Masnavi's characteristic interweaving of stories, parables, and spiritual teachings, exploring themes of the soul's relationship to the divine, human folly and wisdom, and the nature of love and longing. It holds a central place in Persian literature and Sufi thought, regarded as one of the most significant works of mystical poetry in the world.
