About this work

Book Six of the Masnavi is a long narrative poem by Rumi, the sixth and final volume of his celebrated Persian verse work. Like the preceding books, it proceeds through a series of interconnected parables, stories, and spiritual teachings, exploring themes of the soul's journey, divine love, and mystical understanding. It holds a central place in Persian literature and Sufi thought as part of one of the most expansive and revered works of religious and poetic reflection in the classical tradition.
