Chahar Maqaleh is a classical Persian prose work by Nizami Aruzi, presented here in an edition corrected and prepared by Mohammad Qazvini, published in 1306 (solar hijri). This volume contains the editor's introduction, along with a full record of variant readings drawn from other manuscript copies. The work itself belongs to the tradition of Persian adab literature. Qazvini's scholarly apparatus, including the collation of manuscript differences, makes this edition a serious critical text intended for researchers and readers engaged with classical Persian literature and its textual history.
