رباعی‌های مهستی گنجوی/رباعی شمارهٔ ۱۶۷

This is a rubai, or Persian quatrain, by the poet Mahasti Ganjavi. In this single poem, numbered 167, a beloved figure instructs the speaker to take up wine and to look only at the beloved's face, presenting wine-drinking and gazing upon the beloved as intertwined acts of devotion. The poem belongs to the lyric tradition of classical Persian poetry in which love and wine serve as central, interwoven themes.
