This is a scholarly article examining autumn as a central theme in Persian children's poetry. It investigates why poets writing for children are drawn to autumn, exploring their use of the season's visual appeal and its natural and biological characteristics. The article also analyzes how children's poets draw on autumn's symbolic and mythological dimensions to serve the broader aims of children's poetry. The research finds that some poems on autumn themes succeed in creating meaningful emotional and artistic connections between the season's phenomena and the world of the child reader.
