این مقاله به بررسی تصویر هنری شخصیت خرگوش در قصههای حیوانات میپردازد و آن را از منظر ذهنیت ملی و فرهنگی تحلیل میکند. نویسنده با مقایسهی قصههای حیوانات در فرهنگ اوکراینی و انگلیسی، شباهتها و تفاوتهای این دو سنت داستانی را در بازنمایی خرگوش به عنوان یک شخصیت محبوب بررسی میکند. هدف مقاله روشن کردن ویژگیهای فرهنگی و محیطی نهفته در این قصههاست تا از این راه به گسترش روابط میانفرهنگی میان این دو حوزهی زبانی کمک کند.
